The food and prices are excellent, but sometimes the premises are not open as advertised and the delivery service can be very poor in terms of waiting for meals to arrive.
Such a shame, I have been ordering from New Eastern for over a decade and in my opinion their Madras is unbeatable. I dont know whats going on behind the scenes but after ordering and my food not showing up I decided to give them a second chance. Upon ordering I was told it could be an hour +, 2 hours passed and now they refuse to answer the phone. NEVER AGAIN, a loyal customer lost!
Been ordering from here for about 11 years and has always been brilliant until recently, twice now they have failed to arrive with our order, we gave them a second chance but once again no show, no phone call to say it will not arrive and they did not answer the phone when we tried to chase up our order, it got to 11pm when we had to admit defeat that they were not coming, by this point we had had a drink so unable to drive to get something else and was to late to order elsewhere unless we wanted to wait another hour, I'm so angry and in disbelief how anyone can think it's ok to not turn up and not have the common courtesy to phone, I will never order from them again they have gone down hill food not as good and they are just plain rude on the phone
Always really happy with this place! The curry is always very tasty, good delivery service! Reasonable prices! One of the best Indians in Chesterfield.
Best, best tandoori chicken kebab in Chesterfield! Nice fresh Nan with good amount of tandoori chicken & chilli/garlic sauces! Would highly recommend this dish.Worth the wait even if it was 15-20 mins late
