Lovely park . Lake with swans and lots of other water birds. Nice wide paths for pushchairs, cycles , horses and dog walkers alike. Playgrounds and best of all free car park. We have driven past this park many times on our way to other places in Derbyshire. We did not realise just how lovely it is . Sure there will much more to discover. We will go back.
Nice little country park with amenities, great for dog walkers & cyclists, a few steps & quite muddy when we visited so it not best for pushchairs & the like! Ample free parking & toilets were clean, fitness park & traditional park with zip wire, also couple of decent football pitches!, worth a visit.
Love this place. Great outdoors family activities and free. A few parks along the way and plenty of trees to climb for the kids.
Lovely park good parking nice walks. Dogs welcome especially with owners who respect the health of others Large lake with wild fowl and diverse land contours worth a visit especially in summer and early autumn . Cafe and toilet facilities including radar key disabled facilities.
Great place for a Sunday afternoon walk or even weekdays. Popular with dog walkers and runners also. Has a kids play area at the top end of the park with a great cafe, serves homemade cakes and scones. The park is well looked after and has two car parks. There is a popular fishing pond / lake in the middle together with a small stream flowing through it. Exercise area next to again another small child's play area. Plenty of maps to help you find your way around. Make sure in the winter you have good walking boots or wellies.
