The best place to buy art supplies and craft items in Chesterfield. A huge range of goods covering a wide range of craft items over 2 floors. Staff are friendly. The shop is not often busy and it isn't crowded. It has good disabled access and a lift to the second floor. Suitable for wheelchairs but the lift is too small for a mobility scooter. Prices are a little high but the quality is excellent.
It was a close 4 star but for me their limited ranges for each section is what really let's it down. If you're doing art at school/college then it's great; if your looking to really get into candle making then I wouldn't bother since they barely have anything however if you're into baking then you'll love the stuff they have to offer. They accept cash or card, they have a large car park they share with the rest of the shops and a cash machine is located just outside. The staff are usually very warm and welcoming but unfortunately not great with questions beyond where each section is located.
Your usual 'out of town' shop. This one well stocked on 2 floors with plenty parking. All the staff are very friendly, very busy and, when I have asked for help, knowledgeable. I regularly bob in even if just for inspiration
