Lidl in my opinion has the edge on Aldi locally the dates are much better and much more affective ambient and fresh stocking and frozen. I have done retail business management and have experience. Credits to the gaffer
Shopping was fine. Quiet easy to find most things. Loved the freshly baked bread etc. Appeared to be queuing for quite a while without them opening extra tills.
This is I nice shop with a good choice of stuff and some things are cheaper and other things are not. A very good choice in the bakery section and they always seem fresh.The only thing I am not too fond of is the speed the cashiers scan things for you to put back in your trolley to have to go to the side and repack stuff in your bags.
A magical place where they sell cheap food and other good, was especially amazed at all the fantastic deals in the wire baskets. The lonely looking check out girl looked happy to have some company and was very helpful in scanning our goods (2 pot noodles, eggs and lemonade). Highly recommend.
No isles are sign-posted, so it is difficult to find what you are looking for, or get into the right isle to at least get into the general location of what you're looking for. For example, today, I looked all around the shop; I looked near the milk fridge, meat area, dairy section (which is the only place with a big sign above it) even the sweetie area. Turn out it was in the isle right next to the fruit and veg. I must have wandered around for at least 20 minutes looking for it. Still, prices are very decent, and at least for next time, I'll know where they are!
