One star is generous. Awful customer service. Little / no communication on important transactions. Selling items which aren't in stock. No returns system in place. I strongly recommend you avoid using these cowboys.
This company officially has the worst customer support ever. I made an Amazon purchase, the item failed after a few days of use. I contacted the company for a refund on the faulty item. The company's customer services representative is called Kevin Blake, one of the directors. He's rude, does not try to understand your issue and should not be on customer support. It's the only customer service I've come across that doesn't believe the item is faulty and will do everything it can to refuse taking it back. I ended up getting Amazon involved to sort it out for me. Long story short, Amazon fully refunded me and Kevin I'm sure feels quite embarrassed. ADVICE - if you have a problem with Camping Online and you purchased through Amazon, contact their customer services and make a 'A-Z Gurantee Claim'.If you purchased through their website then heaven help you. Contact Trading Standards as I see others have done with them.Obviously the company is fine if you're just buying but the moment you have a problem you'd better be prepared to fight with Kevin, the world's worst customer assistant. Just don't use them. It's easier.
Placed an order with them. It was a long time before delivery. The responder to my emails ( who I shall not name) was rude and arrogant. When my goods did arrive, 1 out of the 3 pieces was damaged, inasmuch that a part was missing and therefore making it unusable.CAMPING ONLINE simply do not respond so the issue cannot be addressed. With customer service like this I HOPE HIS BUSINESS GOES UNDER, the sooner the better for all.STEER WELL CLEAR OF CAMPING ONLINE
I run a BBQ business called Pigalicious - we rely on a quick and fast service - I ordered a cool box igloo late yesterday it arrived today fantastic - this was also a repeat order as I am more than happy with the first igloo cool box - thank you camping on line
I bought a low-cost item from this company, which none the less had a one year manufacturer's warranty. After three months the item failed. The manufacturer's website stated that warranty claims must be pursued through the original seller.I wrote two emails to Camping Online, and had no response. When I later called, their response was that they had seen the emails but had not responded as they had been too busy. They then said that they had no intention of helping with my warranty claim on this low-cost item (it cost between five and ten pounds). They then disparagingly and rather aggressively asked if I was in such need of money that such a sum was really so important to me.At that point, I hung up the phone and instead approached the manufacturer, who was pleasant and helpful. It has been decades since any vendor was as rude to me as the representative of Camping Online, and I very much hope it will be decades before anyone is again. It may be that they are fine to deal with so long as nothing goes wrong or you are a big money client, but my experience has left me very doubtful that their heart is in the right place as regards customer service.
