Stayed here recently. Lovely hotel . Well positioned for a small walk into town. Room was clean tidy and comfortable. hosts very accommodating nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast very nice. Evening meal was excellent.

The hotel is a family run business and is all the better for it. The staff are warm, friendly and extremely helpful. The food is of a high standard, although as it is only a few minutes walk to the town centre there is a wide variety of choice if required. A warm welcome is guaranteed as is a good night's sleep.
Owner was amazing, we had problems with our hotel at 3am (it was noisy and cold, the ibis) and the owners of Buckinghams Hotel opened up at 3am gave us a lovely room. The most amazing breakfast with everything homemade from yogurts to sausages, and plenty of complimentary beverages. We would defiantly stay again.
