A good overall experience here. One night spent in the spacious lovely room. The traffic from the road can be heard, as can the noise from the restaurant but not too unduly to keep one from sleeping. Excellent shower, safe to say the best I have had! Food was of a good standard too.

Me and my husband stopped here for the night. We had a very warm welcome , staff were friendly and helpful. The room was lovely , clean and very spacious. We had dinner in the steakhouse and was very dissatisfied. It is extremely over priced for what you get and the quality of it.The steak was fatty and full of gristle. You get one onion ring and the batter was completely raw. The chips were undercooked and coleslaw tasted really cheap. Would definitely stay again but eat elsewhere.
Lovely as always. Steak was cooked perfectly (16oz t-bone),. The wife had the Hunters chicken which was very well presented, and "epic", as she put it. My only complaint is the chips are a bit chunky for my liking, but that's a personal view so not a fault of the restaurant. Still beautiful, nonetheless. Great service, nice atmosphere and excellent food. Can't ask for more.
After hearing their reviews I was disapointed. The room is modern and continental good, would always prefer a full English but my fault. The food in the restaurant was mediocre. Being a steakhouse Id expect quality steaks cooked well with homemade sides done well. I cooked my steak better myself on the table than my partner from the chef. The quality of the steak and how is was prepared, discounting. Especially for the 70 we paid for a 2 course meal for 2 with 2 drinks in which we had a sharing starter. Most annoying of all the only have a form to contact their email with on the website and I have tried to contact them 4/5 times over a few weeks with no reply. Not happy
