After trying a fair few other dealerships and having a pretty torrid time, we ended up at Simon James Cars. James showed us the Jaguar XKR and left us to it, no hovering near by, no hard sell. The attitude was if people like the car then they will take it, if they don't then we're not here to force them.After having a look around the car and a test drive we came back ready to buy, however the car had one tiny imperfection in that a temperature sensor fan behind the dashboard was a little too loud for my liking. I mentioned this to James who was ready to give a discount on the car but we agreed if I got the fan replaced they would foot the bill. After buying the car I took it to Jaguar who while replacing the fan pointed out the back brake pads/discs needed replacing, I asked James if they would cover this too and they were more than happy to get the car to a perfect state, no hassle at all, really a breath of fresh air. When we're looking for our next car we'll be heading to Simon James first.
