Recently purchased my beautiful Audi A1 from Chesterfield Motor Sales which is my second car I have purchased from these guys. My first was an Fiesta Zetec S and was a brilliant car for 3 years until I wanted an upgrade. They make everything really easy which is what I wanted, took my fiesta in part exchange and I was driving my new A1 within 2 hours and I love it, without a doubt when I'm ready I will be going back to Chesterfield Motor Sales.
What an absolute pleasure it was just purchasing my bmw 1 series msport, from my first call to andy it was perfection no salesman drivel. Ask him a question and he will tell you the truth, as i was a couple of hrs drive away he made some videos of the car and sent them me showing any in perfections and explaining what he could do to help with them. That alone put me at ease and i paid a deposit on them videos, when i turned up the car was as described and i was left to my own devices to view the car. When i was satisfied the deal was done and it was all done with ease. If your looking for a certain car and they have it you won't be disappointed,.
Didn't have a good experience here. Tim the owner wouldn't let me test drive the car unless I wanted it. I explained I couldn't buy a car without test driving it but that wasn't good enough for him. Apparently we'd get the car "dirty".he wouldn't budge on the price either which is fair enough however, a month later he sold the car for the price I asked for, what a salesman.... I ended up going elsewhere and buying better. more fool Tim cos there would have been cash in his hand on the back of that test drive!EDIT: REPLY TO OWNERS COMMENTThe reply from the owner below is totally untrue, the car sold 1000 pound cheaper 4 weeks later not 1 week later as stated at the same price, I know this because I watched it until it sold, and then I saw on his Facebook forum who he sold it too and the price! In answer to being an unfair review I would like to add I am not the kind of person who would leave an undue review lightly - the place I have bought my car from and ended up extremely happy with has been given a totally great review, because honesty is the best policy, hence the review given here Tim. Thirdly and lastly, the other dealer I ended up buying my car from have a well known policy, they filter out "timewasters" if that's what you are insinuating by asking them for a deposit on the car, then they have no problem in taking them out for a test drive. Tim this is what I suggest you do - take a deposit off your customers and then don't refuse them a test drive because there obviously very serious. There's a couple more reviews on this page, which suggest similar dealings with you and its extremely clear why. Sorry Tim, nothing personal just wouldn't spend my money with a salesman who constantly feels the need to repeat "now I know salesman aren't known as the most honest people but...." Fact of the matter is if you'd have let me test drive then the car would have been sold and the review now would be much differentAll the best Tim and no hard feelings,EDIT:My last word is unfortunately this is a dishonest dealerMy review is not malicious but truthful
